ATTIC INSULATION PROJECT

400mm Of Glasswool insulation was fitted to bring the thermal performance of the attic up to the requirements of the current building regulations. Also installed was a cold water tank cover to protect against freezing conditions. Finally, an insulated attic trap door cover was fitted to cover the stira ladder and seal it from drafts and cold air leaks.

AIR TIGHTNESS PROJECT

The Isover Smart Vapour Membrane was fitted to the timber frame structure to provide a complete airtight and moisture control layer. Windows and doors were sealed with airtight tapes to prevent leaks, pipe and electric cables were also addressed to ensure a high level of airtightness was achieved.
